Department research showcased in new issue of Critical Studies in Television

The new issue of academic journal Critical Studies in Television features articles from two FTT department members. Lecturer in Television Simone Knox draws on archival research to discuss US broadcaster PBS’s acquisition of British drama in  ‘Masterpiece Theatre and British Drama Imports on US Television’. Post doctoral researcher Billy Smart investigates experimental, non-naturalist narrative forms in theatre and television in ‘Cosmic Effects on the Intimate Screen: J. B. Priestley, Ralph Richardson and Johnson over Jordan (1965)’
