Simone Knox to give Children’s Christmas Lecture

Simone Knox will give this year’s Christmas Lecture for Children, titled ‘Lights, Camera, Action: How to Make Your Own TV Show’. The much-loved Christmas Lectures are laid on every year so children can learn, in a fun and entertaining way, about some of the groundbreaking work going on at the University.

This year’s Lecture will take a look behind the scenes of television production, exploring the different elements of the process, including script-writing, directing, lighting, costume and set design – and there will be opportunities for hands-on participation too!

The Lecture will take place in the Palmer Building on 21 December 2011. Booking is essential. For further details, check out this link.
