Film Moments launch event

Film Moments: Criticism, History, Theory, co-edited by Tom Brown, is a collection of 38 specially commissioned essays examining a wide selection of key scenes across a broad spectrum of national cinemas, historical periods and genres. The book is being launched at a special public event at BFI Southbank on 5 March, at which contributors to the book will discuss the moments they have written about, and will debate the place of close analysis in contemporary film studies.
