Giving Voice to the Nation Symposium

On 14 September a symposium on regional theatre since 1945 took place in the Department. Speakers included Daniel Evans, actor and artistic director of the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield and Lyn Gardner, theatre critic of The Guardian, and subjects under discussion included Black Watch, The National Theatre of Wales, and Ewan MacColl.
