There is plenty going on at the Department of Film, Theatre & Television as part of the University’s Researchers’ Night public events programme. The events are all happening on Friday 23 September and will showcase research on language, text and power.
In the Minghella Building Ashley Thorpe is curating an exhibition of Chinese and Japanese Theatre artefacts, Lib Taylor is leading a working on verbatim theatre, Jonathan Bignell will introduce a screening of Beckett’s ‘Film’ featuring Buster Keaton, and postgraduate student and filmmaker Reina-Marie Loader will screen her excellent film ‘Sarajevo: Shelved Memories’ and participate in a Q&A on the film afterwards.
